We are Kate, Tres, Ben, Abby (and Dolly) Sansom and we are so blessed to own William Allen Farm. We are so glad you’ve stopped by to check out our barn. As a family, we take a great deal of pride and joy in giving you a beautiful spot to celebrate the most important day of your life!
We fell in love with William Allen Farm a few years ago when my (Kate’s) sister booked her own wedding. With Tres being a C4/5 quadriplegic, we have always tried to find a business that we could own and operate within the limitations we have as a family. When we saw the wedding barn we realized it was not only something we’d enjoy but something we could physically do!
Shortly after my sister’s wedding, the opportunity presented itself to purchase William Allen Farm. We jumped in with both feet. I grew up in an entrepreneurial family, the daughter of John Libby the timber framer in Freeport. The importance of loving what you do and working hard has been ingrained in me by my father since I was a little girl. With a background in sales and event planning, this business is the perfect balance for me.
Tres, a native of Texas, has always dreamed of owning his own farm. But when he was injured at the age of 18 he wasn’t sure his dream would be able to come to fruition. For both of us, this is a dream come true.
